A full program has been arranged for the distinguished visitor. She will be taken for a sight-seeing trip upon her arrival tomorrow, and at 5:30 o'clock she will be interviewed over KINY by Dorothy Gray, JWC radio chairman Mrs. Ahlgren will be the dinner guest of the Douglas group tomor- row night, and meetings with Ju- neau clubwomen have been sched- uled for Wednesday. Also a mem- ber of the Business and Professional Women Club, Mrs. Ahlgren will be entertained at lunch Wednesday by a group of local BPW members. On Wednesday night, the Juneau and Douglas clubs will hold a re- ception in the 1.O.O.F. hall to give channel club members and othgr| interested women (men are also in- vited) an opportunity to meet and hear Mrs. Ahlgren. A musical pro- gram will be given from 8 to 8:30 and an address by Mrs. Ahlgren will follow. Refreshments will be served | by the clubwomen at the close of | the evening. | Ducks Take | Top Place ‘ For Lions With many members convening at the duck flats today, the Lions Club held an exclusive meeting attended by only 28 members in the Gold Room of the Baranof Ho- tel. Al Ransome, vice-president pre- sided at the noon luncheon. Dwight Dean, adjutent for the Alaska Na- tional Guard was initiated by Val Poor. Honored guest was “One Shot” George O'Neill, big game hunter and photographer from - Detroit, Michigan. “One Shot” is an ex-of- ficio sourdough as he has not only made 11 trips to Alaska but also|Stalled and new has shown his hunting and fish- ing movies taken in the Territory | N— before many eastern audiences. As a program finale, Joe Tassell, Jr., entertained masterfully on his violin to the delight of the crowd.
