First lesson will begin at 11 am., he said, with a brush-up session at 2 in the afternoon. Skiing for beginners began last night at the meeting in the Juneau Ski Club room at Arctic Brother hood hall. Williams in a dry-ski- ing demonstration showed the prop- | the B0 er way to execute a kick-turn and gave advice to novices on equip- ment to use. A representative from the Juneau Chapter of American Red Cr spent an hour at the meeting plaining the fundamentals of firs aid to the skiers present. Ski Club President Neil Taylor| announced that the clubroom in the A.B. Hall would be open each evening {rom 7:30 until 10 o'clock for “dry Tuesday and Thursday skiing” and “lodge-skiing.” He said expert skiers in the club would be present to give advice to| their skiis to the clubroom to practice kick- beginners who bring turns.
