(terrifying fear! sweeping sus- pense!) and “The Woman from Tangier” (exotic intrigue! mur- derous love!). Youthful actors who have already made their mark in some of Holly- wood's finest productions deserve much of the praise for making Pro- ducers Releasing Corporation’s mystery drama, “Bury Me Dead,” the taut and tense piece of enter- tainment that it is. The plot of the film deals with the struggle between two sisters and a mysterious killer for the con- trol of a large estate and with an apparent murder by mistake. | Starred are Cathy O'Donnell, | June Lockhart, Hugh Beaumont, {Mark Daniels and Gregg McClure. | Columbia’'s “The Woman from | “Tangier,” features Adele Jergens, Stephen Dunne, Michael-Duane and Denis Green. The picture, a mys- tery melodrama, was directed by Harold Daniels for producer Mar- tin Mooney. Irwin Franklyn wrote the original screenplay. The colorful city of Tangier, the | world’s hottest port of intrigue into iwhich the seven seas pour their adventure, is the locale for the actionful doings of “The Woman from Tangier.” Action and mystery fanciers are slated to find plenty of both including two murders, theft of the contents of a ship's safe, and mauling hand-to-hand combat. There’s also a sizzling ro- |mance between Miss Jergens and lDuane. | | NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN: |That on August 2nd, 1949, in the | Commissioner's Court for Juneau Precinct, at Juneau, Alaska, Sigrid Hildre was appointed administratrix ! of the estate of ANDREW HILDRE, | deceased. Hidden behind typical Skagway “Days of '98” foliage, one bit player can scarcely be recognized at C. A. (Pat) Carroll, mayor of Skag- (way and assessor for the First Division. Locale for Alaska shooting was Skagway, Point Barrow and Cape Prince of Wales, the most westerly point on this continent. John Broomfield, featured male star, served a strenuous appren- ticeship for an acting career. The husky and handsome actor was an outstanding football player, a Gold- en Glove boxing champion and a tuna fisherman before he tried his hand at histrionies. Exotic Alyce Louis plays the leading feminine role in the excit- ing seafaring adventure.
