While the Twinks were sweeping a Sunday twin bill from Portland, the Solons were absorbing a double | drubbing from the tail end Los Angeles crowd, all of which lesve: Hollywood 6': games atop Saci mento in Monday's standings. Hollywood whipped Portland, 12 to 3 in the opener and took the finale, 5 to 2. Los Angeles larupped the Solons, 7 to 1 and 3 to 0. At Oakland, meanwhile, the Acorns presented a study in orga- nized violence in trouncing Seattle, 13 to 7 in their opener, but the Rainiers bounced back for a 6 to 4 triumph in the afterpiece.
