The historical newscast will be the fea- ture of “Silver Salute,” a tribute by the staff of the local station to KFQD, Anchorage. which is cele- brating its 25th anmniversary ot broadcasting today. KFQD was the 95th commercial transmitter licensed by the U.S. government and went on the air in May of 1924, its operations having continueq uninte:rupted to the INVITATION TO BID The Alaska Department of Health, P.
