It was explained that the most land available at Tavernier was about seven acres, and would be an irregular shaped: lot and was considered an undesirable lo- cation for a school. The School Board will now have to hold a series of meetings to de- termine how the»money shall be ‘raised to provide for school en- largements and new schools to cost about $500,000. Committee Tolls Would Have Lal Operated And Maintained Gounty And Schools 4 Years More than 10 years ago, Mon- roe County Commissioners pass- ed a resolution that turned over to the State Road Department 80 percent of the gasoline taxes that would have come to the county, en the department's agreeing to maintain and operate the Over- seas Road and Tolj Bridge Dis- trict.
