In spite of the hilarious bung- lings of Brown and Carney, “The | Cobra” gets his deserts, but not before Miss Jeffreys is arrested for murder and the two boys undergo harassing experiences in a torture chamber and narrowly escape death from poisoned darts. A note of ro- mance is present when Miss Jetf- s falls for the lieutenant ot police played by Cramer. The other feature of this double bill is “King of the Bandits,” and Gilbert Roland has the role of the Cisco Kid. Emblem Club Calls Special Practice A special meeting of the Emblem Club was called for next Tuesday evening at the business meeting held last night in the Elks rooms. | | Members will practice for initiation ‘0 be held May 26.
