One of the series was moving north- ward just off the coast of Dixon Entrance this morning. Due to the high pressure over the interior of Canada and Alaska northerly winds have been flowing southward in Lynn Canal and caused snow as iar scuthward as Sitka and Juneau during the night. The snow fall is ite heavy. Five inches of snow fell at the airport during the vast 12 hours and a total of 59 inches fell at Haines during the past two or three day Rain fell during the past 24 hours along the coast from Oregon to Frederick Sound.
