CORRECTION In order to correct an erroneous impression created by the report of the testimony given before the House of Representatives by Dr. C. Earl Albrecht, Territorial Commis- sicner of Health, regarding the need for increased facilities for combat- ing tuberculosis, Dr. Albrecht says that at no time during the testi- mony did he refer to the Alaska Equal Rights Act. “When I testified that the Health Department cannot discriminate as between whites and Natives, I was referring to the Tuberculosis Con- trol Act, passed in 1946, Dr. Al- brecht said. This Act states that the Health Department shall pay the costs of care and incidental expenses for resident Alaskans either in whole or in part, depending on the ability of respective patients to pay, and thus makes no distinction as to race or color, Mrs who recently Before construction begins lT S OFTEN possible for am insurance agent or a fire prevention engi- neer, by inspecting blue prin to advance sug- gestions which may re- duce the chance of fire.
