S. Commis-~ tioner, One of the biggest problems fac- ing the Council group was that of allotting the time the wirls could spend at the camp, and the final sion was that none could be iven more than two weeks, in ordeg to make it possible for all who have registered to attend. There's been a large increa registrations this year, but no cor- onding increase in the accom- ations at camp, and the only to give h girl the opportun- ity of going is to limit each one to not mere than two weeks, while the Brownies only have the onz week 1. al eirls who had expressed re to spend three or four t camp were naturally dis- ited, but after the situation explained they cheerfully ac- cepted the news as good Girl Scouts would Parents of the girls will be re- assured to know that this summer there will be a man at camp dur- ing the entire period, and also a > 'boat With an outboard motor, mak- ing it possible to reach town quick- lv in case of an emergency of any kind. Mrs. Ferol Onstott of Warren, Ohio, the Camp Director for the seascn, was arriving by plane today and plans are for her to go out to the camp tomorrow. The report was mads by the Finance Committee in charge of the drive for funds for camp that to date a total of approximately $1250 has been received, about $250 short of the goal of $1500 which was considered the least needed to cover the expenses. — - - PARISH PICNIC AT SHRINE 15 SUNDAY There will be an all-day parish picnic Sunday at the Shrine of St. ‘Teresa, sponsorad jointly by the Knights of Columbus and the Cath- olic Daughters of America, which all parishioners are cordially invit- ttend. ses will be held in the church Sunday morning as usual, at 8:30 and 10:30 o'clock, and at the shrine at 9 o'clock, is is announced. ‘Transportation will be available from tke church to the Shrine, leaving the church about 10 o’clock and again about 12 noon.
