J. Manthey, next Tuesday evening at 8 o'clock. The evening will be spent working on pieced wool afghans for convales- cent veterans in Army and Navy hospitals. When completed, the afghans will be given to the Red Cross for distribution. ‘There will be plenty of work for everyone to do, such as cutting, pressing, assembling and sewing. Each one is asked to take her own scissors, and a thimble might be needed. All members are cordially in- vited to attend.
