ABANDON SEARCH FOR BOAT LOST IN ALASKAN WATERS Halibuter Helgeland Crew of 11, Missing Since September KETCHIKAN, Alaska, Nov. 6.— The halibuter Masonic is south- bound today after abandoning the search for halibuter Helgeland which disappeared in the North Pacific fishing grounds two months ago. Capt. John Hansen of the Ma- sonic said the search covered more than 2000 miles of shoreline as far westward as Dry Bay and also the entire Middleton Island area and the Gulf of Alaska.
