DAST GUARD HAIDA SAILS NORTH TODAY Vessel to Come to Juneau Then Go on Long Irip to Westward SEATTLE, May 13.—Coast Guard cutter Haida, in command of Lt Oomdr. Noble G. Ricketts, is sched- uled to sail north today for Juneau, preparatory to going to the Alaska Peninsula, Aleutians and Bristol Bay on regular Coast Guard duties, floating United States district cour: and hospital Judge Simon Hellenthal, of the Third Judicial Division of Alaska with court attaches, will board the Haida at Valdez to hear cases ac- cumulating since last fall at various isolated ports. Dr. Carroll E. Bingham and assis- tants will minister to the nativ medical needs. The Haida is scheduled to clear from Valdez, after leaving the bas® headquarters at Juneau, on June 3 and will then go to Seward. Stops will be made at Seldovia Kodiak, Kanatak, Chignik, Squaw Harbor, King Cove, False Pas:, Una- laska, Atka, St. Paul Island, Snag Point and Naknek on the far west- ward trip HOLDEN HOPS Alex Holden took the Marine Air- ways Bellanca out today with four passengers aboard for island points.
