Three commitiee reports were heard at the regular meeting ,of the Juneau Mine Workers' Asso- ciation of the A. B. Hall last night. The Sports Committee, Kinky Bayers, Sam Nelson, Bruce Smith, Daniel Livie and Joe Snow, re- ported that the Association now has several sets of boxing gloves and that a smoker will be ar- ranged in the near future—prob- ably open to the public. The Constitution Committee, James Lynan, Carey Tubbs, Hallis Jones, Alec Sturrock and Forest Bates, reported regarding salaries for the two secretaries—Jess Paine and Jim Briggs. Terry Lewis, representing the Grievance Committee, also made & report.
