Noth- |ing is omitted, not even their |means of creating news when none | exist. } Robert Armstrong, as the ace }mmeraman who lets his assistant take all the risks while he collects | CAMERAMEN ARE don't | the praises and basks in the glory, presents another characterization |as powerful as his work in “King | Kong.” But it's young Richard { Cromwell, as his aide. who deserves | first honors. This lad turns in lone consistently fine performance | after another. And what s he takes with life and limb in “Above the Clouds!” Attractive Dorothy Wilson has the feminine lead. It's one of the | best roles she's had yet, and she interprets it with a simplicity and a charm that should keep her in demand in Hollywood. Edmund Breese and Morgan Wallace acquit themselves credit- ably in supporting roles. e — DOUGLAS NEWS DOUGLAS CARD PARTY With six tables in play the third event of the Rebekah card party series which was started early in February was held last evening in the Odd Fellows’ Hall, Prizes for the bridge went to Mrs. John Mills and Ed Andrews, high scorers, and to Elizabeth Feu- si and Felix Gray, low; for whist Mrs. Ed. Cashel and C. H. Bowman won first prizes; Mrs. G. Wahto and John Feusi, consolations. Weenies, buns, cake and coffee were enjoyed following the card playing. The next and last party of the series is dated for Thursday, March 22. DOUG JR. STAR IN PRIZE-FIGHT FEATURE HERE Splendid Cast Adds Lus-{ tre to ‘Life of Jimmy Dolan’ at Capitol “The Life of Jimmy Dolan," starring Douglas Fairbanks, which opens tonight at the Capitol Theatre is a down-to-earth yarn of prize fighters, farms hard-boiled boy who learns that there is satisfaction in doing some- thing for some one aside from himself. The picture is geared to an unusually fast pace and suffers no lapses of action or purpose. Iy the fine supporting cast are sulr well known names as Loretta Young, Aline McMahon, Guy Kib- bee, Lyle Talbut and Fifi Dorsay, all of whom give fine performances and add to the great entertain- ment values of the picture. Doug. Jr., takes the role of Jimmy Dolan, who wins the light- heavyweight boxing title and cele- brates with a wild party in his apartment. revolves about the conception that a man is a sucker to do anything for any one other than himself.
