Taylor mads the statement at the close of a hectic demonstration during which 5,000 teachers took the freedom afforded by the first three-day spring vacation to heckle Loop bankers and meetings of of- ficials attended by the Guvernor. Taylor said the situation has reached the point where the schools must be closed as there is no money to pay the teachers and for other maintenance purposss. ¢ DOUGLAS NEWS$ F. 0. E.
