REPAIR DECKING AT PORTER DOCK REINFORCED PILING RECENT- LY PLACED TO STRENGTH- EN STRUCTURE For several days a gang of car- penters has been at work making repairs to the decking of the Por- {ter Deck company's piers. The work is well under way and it will be finished within the next 10 days, it is expected. Recently the supporting struc- ture was reinforced by 125 creo- soted piling replacing those that were considered useless. This work completed the decking repair work was started. Much of the decking is being removed, shorted, turned over and replaced, as a great deal of the planking is well seasoned and practically new.
