When the whole edition is com- pleted, it will undoubtedly have con- siderable effect on every edition of the bible. : Dozens of classical scholars of the highest ' rank working on the Vul- gate have found hundreds of cor- rcetions to make in the text, which in many cases change the meaning. In the book of Genesis, alone, some 2,000 corrections were made. The first book has already been {published and three others will spon follow.
