Mae Pauly Luge\ 60 cenh PREVOST ' 'Man Bait and Kenneth 's Orchestra plays for Attractions | At Theatres I 7 = MARIE PREVOST IS AT PALACE TONIGHT L’Thv nimrod baits his hook with a wiggling worm to lure the poor fish to the frying pan, but Marie Prevost uses a beauty spot on her cheek as bait to draw the male variety of the finny tribe to her web in “Man Bait,” her current Metropolitan starring production, which will be on view at the Pal- ace tonight. The speck of ebony court plaster does the job in the story but whether it would suffice in real life is open for argument. Miss Prevost, as the sophisticated salesgirl, injects plenty of fire and verve into the role. It is a story also of a taxi-dancer. She has excellent supporting cast including Kenneth Thomson, Douglas Fair- banks, Jr., Adda Gleason, Louis Natheaux, Eddie Gribbon and Bet- ty Francisco. The pxc(mhl ver= sion was adapted by Douglas Z. Doth from the stage play and Don- ald Crisp directed. i MAY M'AVOY IS | NOW AT COLISEUM B ~— i “Stolen Kisses,” Warner Bros.' Vitaphone production which is now at the Coliseum with May McAvoy in the starring fole, is one of the most delicious comedies of the sea- son. There are complications ga- lore, and a series of situations which bring to the characters in the story the utmost embarrassment, apd to the audience continuous and hilari- ous enjoyment. ‘The story takes the characters; to Paris and the famous Folies Bergeres, where the gay atmosphere only serves to increase the troubles of the dainty May and her hus- band Hallam Cooley. The company of players in “Stol- en Kisses” includes, in addition to those mentioned, Reed Howes, Ar- thur Hoyt, Edna Murphy, ' Agnes Franey and Phyllis Crane.
