VALENTINE CELEBRATED An occasion of considerable pre- paration and much fun was Valen- tine's Day, which was duly ob-| derved by all the grades in the school yesterday. A box was s tioned in each room where the pu pls deposited valentines for each other. Theso were distributed with appropriate exercises in the afternoon. The Third and Fourth grades| were entertained by their teacher Miss Dorothy Crim at her home last evening. The rooms were decorated in honor of St. Valen- tine and the little guests attended im costume. Prizes were given and it was difficult to decode the winners. First prize was award- ed to Vera Kirkham, as a pirate; Wilfred Fleek, who made an ex- cellent Topsy; Ruth Langseth as guneen of hearts; Patty Brown, as a 'maid of the Orient, and Albert Uberti as a clown, merited special mention. “The chief event of the evening wis a track meet in which three téams participated and the “Win-| nerg”’ came out victorious.
