—_—T DOUGLAS NEWS EAGLES WIN FROM SAILORS In a close, well played gama, played here last night, the Eagles basketball team won from the Unalga quintet by six points, the score being 31 to 25. The Sailors had the lead on the Eagles team at the end of the first half when- the score was,16 to 15 in their favor and were playing good consistent ball, with # tendency to roughness, however. Then the Eagles tightened up their defense and Hunt, Unalga forward® who scored four shots in the first' half, was held to only one in the second period. Takko, sailor center, who also scored four shots in the first half, was allowed to sink but three in the jast half. The Eagles made threc points from free throws while the ilors made one.
