Dr. Datzlaif of Sandpoint, who with his wif been in the mountains hunting, came in Wednesday with two nice elk heads, one of them with a kind of freak set of horns, and also a deer head, but with very little meat, was arrested, plead guilty and was fined $25 for leaving the meat in the woods. The case was heard before Judge Snyder Thursday morning, the ty leaving at once for their ome. It is thought that the doctor was innocent of any in- tent to violate the game laws.
