They base this estimate upon the attendance at other contests of that kind and upon the‘further fact that there is a marked reviv- al of interest in athletics, and especially in boxing. This is reflected in Idaho by the passage ofthe Lill permitting boxing contests and providing an athletic commission by unani- mous vote of the legislature, even the women and members. of churches favoring it. Other states contemplate taking similar ac- tion. Pocatello at this time seems to have every ‘advantage in the contest for being ‘the place for staging the big bout and’ thous- ands ofdollars have already been raised in that city to have the promoters stage the contest there.
