KEW BISHOPS, The Committee on the Consecration of Risbops reported that they bad cxamined the papors in the cases of the Rt. Reva. Edward R. Welles, Pishop-clect of the Diocess of Wisconsin, and George F. Seymour, Bishop-elect of the Dioceso of Iilinois, and that they had found that ail the rules and canops had been complied with. They, therofors, submitted the castomary resolutions, declaring that the Committee ap- prove the testimonials of these persons, to sixn the proper cerlificates to be forwarded to the Houge of Dishops. Spencer, cowpanion with Bishop Harris in their trip arouhd the world, by request addressed the Conference. His remarks were full of interest.
