T. an, who stated that there was some con- of opinion in the Park Board relative to manner of improvement. Some were of inion that {ho proposed improvements should ‘msde on Division, Washington, and Twelfth weets. Thoy wanted to know if the Council would help them with the proposed work, A QUESTION OF COST. 414 Miner nsked whether they would not cost poreif dopo by the Board than if performed qder the direction of the Common Council. \ir. Ruoyan replied that, as heavy tax-payers, {he Commissioners were as much interested in ing down expens?s as were the Aldermen. 2 Moore wished to know whether assess- pents could bo made by the Board. Mr. Runyaa said that he was alone in the con- frary opinion npon the Board. ‘Ald.
