Emily Swan and the Chicago Orphan Asylum,” which involved tha care of Ellen Kennedy, s 12-year-old girl, daughter of the relator by s previous marrisge, was taken up. The court was filled with the parties interested. Mr. Cvoper, the counsel for the Asylum, briefiy stated the facts of the case, and proposed to stop all controversy by axamining the child, to find her wislies in the matter; ond, In the ovent of ber deciding to Ieave the Asyhum and go to her mother, to let her do 80, o, if sho decided in favor of the Asylum, to let the Court decide upon the ssue, The counsel for the plaintiff, Mr. Moran, objected to this proposition. 3r.
