VIOLATION OF THE SUNDAY LAW. H. M. Haight, a billiard-saloon and bar-room keeper, at Nos. 220 and 222 West Madison stret, under the Everett House, was arraigned béfore Justico Banyon yesterday afternoon, to answer to several charges of violating the Liquor law, the trial being on o chango of venuo from Jus. tice Scully. Charges were_also preferred agsinst Mr. Haight for allowing his billierd tables to be nséd on Sun- dny, but the Court dismissed them on the ground that the gamo was one of &kill, not one of chiance, such as is prohibited by the ordin- ance. e o High Art.
