The elghth studio recital of this season given by Lulu Elizabeth Sams’ pupils, took place Saturday afternoon from 3 to 4 o'clock at 515 South Durbin. At each recital a different group of pupils appear. The complete and superior plano playing courses which Miss Sams teaches, includes these recitals as part of the musteal education, and are very beneficial for those taking part. In this way they gradua'ly sain confidence in playing before audiences, and every month the: pu- pils progress is very noticeable. All work {1s done from memory.
