SENORITA “MIPMSELLE MIDNIGHT” Mae Murray, for. whom such ad- jectives as beautiful, dazzling, biz- ware and bewitching seem to have been. expressly originated, {s deter- mined to give something entirely different and unexpected in every picture she makes. Her newest Metro production, “Mademoiselle Midnight,” coming to the Rialto theater today, which her husband Robert Z. Leonard directed, is just as different from “Fashion Row" as the latter {s from her previous plc- ture. . In “Mademolsell Midnight" Miss Murray plays the part of a great lady of the court of Napoleon the ‘Third, and then the descendant of the same character in Mexico many years later. Both these roles lend themselves to colorful character- dzations of which Miss Murray has taken full adventage. Miss Murray is admitted by mem- vera of her own sex to be the best and most originally dressed star. “Mademoiselle Midnight" gives her every opportunity to take advantage of her abilities along these lines, In the picturesque hoop skirts with all thelr quaint eighteenth century frills Miss Murray was never more beautiful and charming. In the many costumes sowne and old Mexico episodes of the story Miss Murray presents one of the most colorful characters of her ca reer. The resumption of payments by the A nda Copper tompany took ‘Wall ‘Street by surprise, as was shown by the fact that the stock soared: two points within a few min: utes after the announcement was made. While it was no secret that the copper companies had bene- Ntted by the recent increases in the price of the red metal, which now is selling around 14% to 14% cents a pound, it was. generally ‘expected that the question of dividends on the copper stocks would not be taken yp til the spring of next year, With hree million shares of 60 par value stock outstanding, the dividend will amount to $2,250,000. || Chafed, irritated skin i quickly relieved BATHE tresly with Resinel ppsen thy sleanew th igo! i Dry b; Tightly— ere aoe 1e Saad ey 2s bee used by physi- ver since to clear awa: apply ply Resinol with the finger ¢ Si yprmect wea ereeces thirt; and Mills received his’ appointment to West Point through the'Oregcn Nat- fonal guard, of which he {s-a meme ber and the naval academy appoint. mentcanye from United States Sena- tor Charles McNary, RESINOL The gorgeous Murray gowns, the exotic Marray dances, PLUS a story ‘that: will:breathe the flame of gay romance.and thrilling adventure into your veins.
