His father brought him from St. Louis in 1869 and es- tablished a home at Laramie, then the terminus | of the Union Pacific ‘Ms a young-man in. his 20's Bert Wagner left. Laramie in 1886 and sought his fortune in Douglas where there are today probably more early day citizens living than in any other Wyoming town. For the next 10 years he was running a clothing store of his own. Since his mercan- tile career in.
