_ Concert Season to Open Here Monday Night With Concert Stars Who Appear in Recital. Here Monday Evening L Am, ya i SUNDAY, OCTOBER 5, 1924. Althouse and Middleton to Give Recital Musical Public Looks , Forward to Great Entertainment Anticipatory thrills are preludes to many events but Casper today is looking forward to the opening con- cert at the America theater tomor- tow night, when Paul Althouse and Arthur Middleton will appear in Joint recital as tehor and baritone, with more than its usual avidity for things musical. Much has been promised in con- nection with the coming here of the two famed vocalists. Still, lttle enough of their classic ability to sing superbly, has ,been conveyed to the loca} public. Long. before Middleton and Althouse ever had a though of coming to this city they had risen to great heights, had startled and pleased the discriminat- ing peoples of many nations. Distant from the centers of popu- lation where artists of all kinds cen- ter, Casper feels doubly enthusiastic over the prospect of hearing tomor- row night's recital. Seldom is it ; possible to afford the best, but the geries p'anned for this winter bring Paul Althouse, noted tenor wh se the finest musicians here at com-|lands, will please a Casper audience at the America theater tomorrow Arthur Middleton, baritone, evening when he and Mr. Middleton give tho first concert of the sea-.to declare him “the finest singer paratively low expense.
