PAGE FOURTEEN LITERARY CLUB TAKEN ON TRIP TO GREAT PARK “Travelogue of Yellow- stone Is Shown at Weekly Meeting. The Casper Literary club was en- abled last evening, through the courtesy of Messrs. J. T. Gratiot and H. O. Barber, to give the mem. bers, their ladies ‘and a few invited guests, an evening mountain travel. and scenic beauty. During the past summer, Messrs. Gratiot and Rarber in conjunction with the Northwestern passenger department officials made the trip from Lander to Yellowstone park and toured the Jackson Hole coun- try with a view of placing before the eastern public a panoramic story of the trip together with the mag- nificent grandeur of mountain, lake, river and plain that enhance each successive mile of the long journey. The Standard Oil company placed at the disposal of the promoters of the entertainment and the Literary club, the assembly hall at the Stand- ard Industrial Relations club butld- ing, and for the evening it was a picture show in presenting the pic- tured results of the Gratiot-Barber adventure through the picturesque Tetons, accompanied by movie ex- perts. The trip is confined to four reels and shows a greater variety of the wonders of nature than can be had in any trip of similar Jength on earth. The audience was delighted and many of those present who had cov- ereg the same territory were sur- prised and charmed by the things the camera revealed, and which they themselves had not discovered. To Cescribe in detall the “voyage” of Messrs Gratiot and Barber and to paint in words the magnificence Presented by faithful camera cannot be done in a necessarily brief news- paper paragraph.
