He may not will find tn PLING. AT AMLTO IS PREMIER FLM COMEDY Determined to-become a great actress alth6ugh thoroughly un- qualified for that profession, the maiden of River Bend played by Mabel Normand, furnishes comedy end pathos in “The Extra Girl. This picture opened in Casper yes- terday at the Rialto theater and will contimue today and tomorrow. Many fans stated yesterday that F gins did not know “Mabel Normand could be so funny,” and certainly the actress strikes the point in the picture when she admits that she is “just naturally funny.” Certainly Miss Normand has been well cast in this picture. One of the greatest of screen comediennes in one of the best of screen comedies is good and there is no argument about it. Theodore Roberts, the grand old man of the screen, has an impor- tant role in “The Extra Girl” as the father of the ambitious child. He is determined however that she shall marry another man than the one with whom she ts in love. There is a mad race for the train which furnishes one of the best things in motion picture comedies This question, “When ts a man a man?” is answered in one of the | most thrilling photo productions of | fj the year. The presentation is | Harold Bell Wright’s famous story of the cattle lands of Arizona, “When a Man's a Man,” and the America theater has the pleasure of offering this super-dramatic film classic to its patrons beginning Fri- day. “When a Man's a Man” is one of the best known books that have been written by Harold Bell Wright. | It was selected as the first of the | & entire Wright series to be given the | silver sheet. Its readers cannot be classed by the thousands, but by the millions. i The production boasts a cast of all-star players,, headed by John Bowers, Marguerite de~ Ia .
