He is the spoilt darling of his society-loving mother and when he meets the fac- tory girl with whom he falls in love, he rebels against the circumstances and drops his mother’s fast crowd for her company, He gets into a scrap on her account and is licked by his father who threatens to have him arrested as an incorrigible. The oldest genera- Uon is represented by George Faw- cett who has the role of Peter B, Kayne, multi-miliionaire who has become the pirate of Wall Street and who retires giving practically his en- tire fortune to his son. The son is also a financier of marked ability until he suffers a change of philoso- phy. Bebe Danteis as the eldest of three daughters of the younger gen- eration is well cast. The girl who kes men’s games better than those of women and who thinks nothing of being the only feminine guest in the hunting lodge of a friend must necessarily have a certain masculine Perception of things to get by. The tendencies of this third gen- eration are well depicted in -the photoplay. Probably there has never been a picture produced in which the theories of three generations are shown so plainly in contrast as in this film. “ Parents who do not look after the welfare of their children beyond fur- nishing them unlimited allowances will fidn food for thought in “His Children’s Children.” “The trouble is that the rich are the pattern for the poor,” says a character in the picture, which indl- cates the tremendous sweep of the photodrama in that !t shows the weakness of present social life in all its different phases. Once when Disraeli was going to the House of Commons to make a speech @ footman closed the carriage door on his wife's fingers. When he was asked out to dine It was always understood that he should be regaled with a bottle of the best port. On one occasion he dined with some friends of mine and was given some wine from the cellar which was not ‘too good’ and Tennyson said so, His host was greatly upset and explained that the ASPIRIN Beware of Imitations! ~miess you see tne “Bayer Cross" con package or on tablets you are not getting the genuine Bayer Aspirin proved safe by millions and prescribed by physicians over twenty-three years for Colds Headache Toothache Lumbago Neuritis Rheumatism Neuralgia Pain, Pain Accept “Bayer Tablets of Aspirin” only.
