Willard officials knew that they did not anticipate the flood of them which Hterally poured in from all ever the United States and Canada. Many radio fans over a thousand miles distant from the broadcasting station, not knowing that they were receiving from one of the most powerful stations yet bullt ex- Pressed their ouriosity as to what equipment the amateur station was using to get such distance. The mystery was finally solved for them, however, when Willard began broadcasting regular pro- grams on Wednesday and Satur- day evenings, using the newly as- signed call letters WTAM. Coal Mine Sold GILLETTH—The Peerless Coal mine at this place, property of the late W. H, Shields has been sold to eastern capitalists through H, C. Raymond of Newcastle. Revoke Pool Hall License GLENROCK—At the regular meeting of the City Council they found where they had the authority to revoke any license that they had issued, if sufficient grounds for samo were presented, and on this ground they proceeded to revoke the Meense of the Moore Poo!
