BY MARY TOBIN Wednesday morning a Casper chap- ter of Delphian, a national educa- tional movement for women was or- ganized at a meeting held in the public Hbrary which over 25 Casper women attended. Delphian was organized to stimu. late interest along educational and cultural lines In America, Its aim is to help the busy person whether ab- sorbed in home, social or business at- fairs to keep abreast of contemporary intellectual activity. Delphian is a national educational and cultural movement, non-sectarian and non-partisan. It brings together progressive women, enabling them to develop intellectually and to work for community, state, and national wel- fare. Th Casper Delphian chapter will hold its meetings on the first and third Tuesday afternoons of each month at 2:30. Although a definite meeting place has not been decided upon it ls probable that the chapter wit meet at the public brary, Officers elected at the meeting yes- terday were Mrs. W. W. Lacy, presi- dent; Mrs. E. F. Foe, vice-president; Mrs. Warren Hagist, secretary and treasurer. A chairman committee composed of Mrs. F. E. Wertenberger, chairman; Mts. Ambrose Hemingway and Mrs. J. H. McCorry was appoint- ed. The first regular meeting of the chapter will be held October 2, the program for which will be in charge of Mrs. McCorry. ° Weiner Roast Last Evening. Miss Maxine Kerr was hostess at a weiner roast given last evening at her home at the foot of the Casper mountains. During the evening games were played. Among those who attended were Mary Barton, Maxine Bracken, Emaline Barton, Haskell Barton, Murry Sullivan, Mar- cella Kerr, Dorothy Mahoney, Agnes Kerr, Martha Moss Mahony, Eileen [Perera] Mr. and Mrs. 'T.
