June 5— Twenty-five teamsters employed on construction of the Wyoming North & South railroad at Buffalo, 50 miles south of Sheridan lost a strike for an increase of wages. They were being paid forty cents an hour. All were discharged after they made known their demands, which the contractors charge, were brought about through agitation by three alleged members of the I. W. W. The sheriff and police at Buffalo gave the agitators but a few hours to leave the country. Murray last night on the charge of vagrancy, he admitted that he prayed whenever he got a chance When asked his religion, he stated the denomination he had professed previous to the war, but since the war he declared that he was willing to take a chance. When dismissed with inatructions to get a job Hill climbed over the railing that separates the judge from witnesses and defendants and kneeled for a moment before mak- ing his exit.
