Aroused to unprecedented opportunities of winning a beautiful motor car and big cash prizes, every passing hour is instilling new energy into ambitious workers. The standing of every contestant as it appears today includes all the voting cou- pons and every subscription ballot that has been received: at the election department for publication through the election up till last Saturday evening. The votes as they appear today will remain unchanged from this time until the final count of the judges, except in case o* error. The reserve ballots of the candidates and their coupons and the subscriptions they secure this week up to the final hour may be deposited in the locked ballot box any time up to the-closing hour of the election, 11 p.m. Saturday, May 5. These votes, however, will not be credited in the published standing until the judges make their final count, If the count today is not absolutely correct according to your figures and records, notify the election depart- ment immediately so that proper corrections may be made before the close of the election. Understand this also—under no circumstances ,can votes or subscriptions be transferred from one candidate toanother. This is an absolute rule and will be enforced.
