Added to the line already laid the company will have 162 miles of line operating. The line will consist of six and eight inch pipe and will handle the output of the corporation in the Salt Creek fiefld together with that of the Fensland company which was re cently acquired and will be used to operate the plant which is fast near- ing completion. Six of the stills have been com- pleted and. the seventh is now being tested. The boiler house is finished, loading racks completed and the water line to the Platte river is ready to operate, It is expected that crude will,be started through the stills in the next few days and work the lubricating plant and addi- tional stills will be started within the next 60 days, Batr to Drill Seven Wells. The Bair O11 company has ordered material for seven rigs, four of which will be erected in the Lost Soldier field and three in Mahoney Dome, where the company will carry on an extensive drilling campaign during the coming summer. Pipe Line Runs. Pipe line runs for the week ended February 24 averaged 108,945 barrels a day in Wyoming and Montana against 115,055 for the preceding week, a loss of 6,060 barrels. The bulk of this reduction was made in the Selt Creek runs although slumps were noticeable in other fields. Arrangements are being made for the drilling of another well in the Bonanza field by the same interests which put down the former test and work will be started within the next sixty days. Southern States Gets Well Southern States O!l has brought in a new we'l on Simpson-Voorhees lease, Hewitt field, Carter county, Okla., making 500 barrels from top of sand. Well is being drilled deeper, and is expected to be a 1,000 barrel producer. This ts high gravity oll. Southern States has four more wells drilling in the immediate vicinity of this well which are axpected in within a few days. Report Should Show Surplus “The consolidated income account of the American International Corpora. tion for 1922 to be published this month is expected to show a small surplus.
