The be- trothal of the couple was announced at a luncheon given yesterday at the Sullivan home, 109 East 10th street, by Mrs. Patrick Sullivan. The bride- to-de was showered with congratula- tions of her many friends, who were happy over the pleasing surprise. Miss Sullivan is the next eldest of the three daughters of Mr. and Mrs. Patrick Sullivan, and is extremely popular among the younger set. Small cartes containing bags of rice in which had been placed a card containing the name of the two betrothed were set at each place. The place cards them- selves were in the form of miniature brides. At Miss Sullivan's plate was net @ doll dressed as a bride. The col- or scheme was pink and white. Pink roses and Shasta daisies in & silver basket decorated the center of the table, with pink and whjte candles on either side. A bridge party followed the services of luncheon.
