Disappointed? I get you. Well, as I was saying, the most in- teresting part of a house nowadays is the cellar!”’ She winked and stood: before a lit: tle iron door. “This must be what |you expected. The vault .. . only this is built out under the side- walk. Now .. . gloat! She swung the deor open. It was dark and dank inside and cobwebby. ‘The light from the cellar did not shed any ray into the vault.
