Casper’s ordinance demands a Class B milk, that is a milk containing not more than 500,000 bacteria for every lo drops. A. Wortham World's Great- est Exposition shows, is one of the most daring and accomplished motor eycle riders in the world. She is a pretty and attractive young lady, slight of build, but with a world of nerve, and no man has ever been found who can duplicate her feats. Miss Connell will come to this city for a week's engagement, under the auspices of the American Legion be- ginning June 12. She is recognized as the most fearless rider ever before the public, and her daredevil stunts on an absolutely perpendicular wall make the spectators gasp with astonishment. Miss Connell not only rides a ‘motor- cycle, as a speed of 60-miles an hour, on this straight track, but also races against an automobile on the same track. This attraction is always the mecca of those with good red blood coursing through their veins. Harry Baker, champion trick rider, is a co-star with Miss Connell in the autodome. Baker rides a super-high powered motorcycle on the perpendicu- lar car course, which the machine is going at terrific speed he released his hold on the handle bars, sits astride! the machine, stands on one pedal, and as a fitting climax stands upright on the seat, giving the spectators a thrill and scene long to be remembered. It is, instead, a magnificent spectacio of all ages that has lasted in public favor for almost a decade and gives every promise of being just as popu- lar another decade hence. It refutes the critics who say that the sceen can- not produce anything enduring, that it Provides only temporary entertain- ment. “Cabiria” is a. gigantic spectacle that was written in scenario form by Ga- briele d’Annunzio. It tells in vivid col- ors the death grapple of the two auto- crats of the old world, Rome and Carthage. Before the eyes of the thea_ ter audience, cities are destroyed fleets are burned, battalions armed with Spears, shields and javelins engaged in combat, gods are worshipped, maidens are offered as sacrifices and empires fall. Behind this spectacular barrage is @ plot as tense in interest as anything that the screen has known. It is inter- woven with a tender love story that draws every ounce of romance out of the ancients. ‘The girl Cabiria pre- sents a fragile figure who easily awak- ens sympathy, and Ernesto Pagani, as the giant Maciste, presents a charac- ter that stands out as a combination of unique dimensions and subtle act- ing. In addition to writing the scenario @'Annunzio atso supervised the scenes and did most of the directing. “Cabiria” will be at, the Iris theater for the last time tonight. -- BROOKHART WINS IN IOWA. __ DES MOINES, Iowa, June 6.—(By The Associated Press).—Nomination of Smith W.
