Riner of the Wyoming has taken under advisement the petition of Robert | spite! Pete United States district court of G. Taylor et al for reinsiatement in this court of the case of Norton P. Otis against Taylor, the Plains Oil company and! others, wherein the plaintiff seeks specific performance of a) fr war WHEAT LOWER ON EARLY SALES Several Factors Contribute to Bearish Effects at Mar- ket Opening. CHICAGO. here averaged a Ii ing the early dealings, about in line with closing quotations at Liverpool. Sales of wheat to go to store in Chi- cago for delivery on May contracts had some bearish affect, as did notice of an attempt to have grain in cars om track herq made tyailatie for regular delivery the same as elevators supplies. Some selling was induced by an opinion from a crop expert in Ottaboma that danger from green bugs appeared to be unimportant. In- itial prices, which variet from i%c de clinn to %c advance, were foucwed by a sag all around to well below yes- terday's finish and then something of a rally. May wheat opened at $142% $1.43 and July $1.25% to $1.25%. Throughout the greater part of the day, absence of any sign of aggressive support for prices was noticeable, but at the last a moderate upturn in values took place owing more or less to gos sip that foreign buyers were about to enter the market again. The close was unsettled, at %c net decline to %e advance with May $1.b3 to $1.43% and Jaly $1.25% to $1.25%. Corn and oats were easier. After opening %c off to ic up, July 64% te 64%c, corn underwent a slight gen: eral setback. The close was steady, at the same as yesterday's finish to % to Kc low er; with July 64% to 65c. Oats started unchanged to %c high er, July 40% to 40%c and later showed slight declines. Higher quotations on hogs strength ened provisions. to Glosing Quotations. ‘Wheat— Open. High Low. A. Riner of the Lara- mie county district court to transfer to the name of J. M. DeRouchey its stock of the par value of $1,000 now recorded on its books in the name of Paul F. Work. DeRouchey secured the stock from Work but the company declined to record the transfer, alleg- ing that Work was indebted to the corporation. DeRouchey sued to com- pel the entry of the transfer, asserting that inasmuch as the corporation was not authorized to do business in Colo- rado it was debarred from attaching Work's stock, which was in safety de- posit at Denver. Judge Finer over ruled a demurrer by the Compass com- pany and ordered the transfer made. contract whereunder Otis alleges he was to receive four per cent royalty on production from 240 acres in the Salt Creek oil field..On March 27 the case was dismissed in the Wyoming court and ordered transferred to the Colorado federal court. Gan Stocks Hit Record. WASHINGTON, April 20.—A billion gallon storage reserve of gasoline was forecast by the bureau of mines to- day in a report showing a reserve on March J. of 818,500000 gallons, the largest in the history of the industry. ‘The March 1 total is an increase of 112,000,000 galions over the reserve of February 1 and is above the high figure of May 1921, by 18,000,000 and 138,000 000 gallons more than March @ year ago. “At the present rate of increase in storage,” says the report, “the billion gallon point may be reached in gaso- line reserve before the seasonal de- cline in stock comes.” a POSTAL SERVICE HERE IMPROVED BY ADDITION OF CARRIER TO FORGE: A new carrier has been added to the postal service today and changes have been made in the routes of all the carriers, This will entail eome in- convenience at first for the persons getting mail from the carriers, for the routes will have to be learned all over again and there may te some mis- takes. The distribution clerks must also become trained in the new routes. Errors will be at a minimum, but the public is asked to bear with the service for a few days. When things are once more going smoothly the service will be better than before be- cause each carrier will have less. space to cover, owing to the additional mem- ber. The public boxes around the city have been painted a beautiful fresh green. ———— A man's lungs contain two hundred cubie inches of air. Are You Using the New Radium Tablets?
