I don’t look for a 5000-barrel gusher here, because San Saba County is a shallow field, yielding semi-refined pe- troleum, from a depth of alout 700 feet — consistent production and steady income is what I plan from San Saba. The Unique Grabstake Unit Plan Explained In lieu of stated salaries or wages, all of the employes ant officials of the Texas- Mexia Drilling syndicate are working on a co-operative profit-sharing “grubstake” plan that works out as follows. 100,000 units of the syndicate have been placed in escrow to be apportioned from time to time to all employes from heads of departments to the humble field workers. The number of units allotted to each to be determined by Col. B. M. Hatfield sole trustee according to the value of services rendered. "These units are escrowed not given or sold to any employe, and the interest of each individual in his or her escrowed units is continued to the dividends there- from for such time as he or she remains a loyal employe of the syndicate, In the event of a worker's death during employment, one-half of the dividends 2utomatically cease and the other half reverts to the employe’s extate in perpetuity. In the event of either total or partial disability of any employe while on dut herds ‘nhe ‘rocelves the full benefit of the apportioned units. Sopheg 3 CLASSIFICATION OF GRUBSTAKE FORCE. Grubstake employes are divided into three classes: Class A—Heads of de ts and office employes including attorneys, chem- ists and engineers, to the number of 23. Class B—Drillers and drillmg crews to the number 56, Class C—Refiners and distributors to the number of 16. Making a total of grubstake force of 100. MAXIMUM ALLOTMENTS OF GRUBSTAKE UNITS: Class A—1-10th of 100,000 units or 10,000 units. Class B—1-25th of 100,000 units cr 2.500 units, Class C—Based on efficiency, ‘The payments in cash to the grubstake force are determined by the Trustee, as follows: . Class A—Living expenses. a Clasn B—$12.50 per month and board while on a job. ’ Class C—None. Cash payments to everybody cease when income from any other source reaches the amount of cash payments. Monday, April 17th, I’m going to Crane County to superintend the spudding in of our first well in that area, to be drilled on 20,000 acres of top-structure leases, that I believe cover America’s next great oil, pool. Here, upon 20,000 acres, I'm going to make a bold strike for millions for my unitholders and myself, and I would gamble almost anything that our first well, on .20,000 acres in Crane County, will come in a gusher. ‘Then the scene of my operatioir; will shift to Kauf- man county. By April 15th our first well, on 5000 acres in Kauf- man county, should be drilling payward. Many wells are drilling in Kaufman county—some of them will be producers, and some will not, but this much I am convinced of—that fully three-quarters of our leases in that area are right over the apex of a true oil structure, and I would not be at all surprised if I brought in a 5000 barrel well within the next sixty days, in Kaufman county. A strange thrill of pleasure swept over me when I signed the April dividend checks a few days ago, and I cannot help but speculate upon the future. In six short months I have paid 155 per cent cash dividends in this entergrise. Now I am convinced that I may pay a thousand per cent before January 1, 1928. I have been active in Oklahoma. I dare not prophesy what I can accomplish there, because I cannot see anything but continued dividends and mammoth profits from our Oklahoma venture. £ I have already secured ‘a big block of acreage in Coal and adjoining counties; the contract for our first well should be closed in a few days and I look for an- other glorious victory there. Iam dreaming big dreams for the Texas-Mexia Drill- ing Syndicate, but while I am dreaming I am also accom- plishing much. My program is being carried.out to the letter, my predictions are coming true—I can see nothing but splendid success ahead. My units that are now available at $2.00 each (yield- ing dividends at the rate of 60% per annum) cannot linger long at this price. { Another cash dividend for May is practically assured, and if our San Saba well should be completed before the regular dividend date, my next monthly cash pay-out might exceed ay total disbursements to date-—155%. ‘The world little knows how bright our future is in this project, and perhaps it is' just as well that it doesn’t. 500,000 UNITS PAR VALUE $1 EACH Sold in Blocks of Not Less Than Ten or More Than 1,000— When the investing public of America awakes to the realization of the fortune making possibiliies of my project—and they are awakening rapidly—I cannot say What the price of my units will be—perhaps $4.00—$8.00 —$16.00—or $100.00 each. Those who joined me a few weeks ago when my units were selling at $1.00 have seen their investment double in yalue and have received substantial cash divi- dends. Those who joined me six months ago have gotten all their money back, plus a 55% profit. Right here I must @ound a note of warning. Brokers in a few cities throughout the United States are “selling short” on shares of Texas-Mexia Drilling Syndicate. I want the co-operation of the brokers, but in jus- tice to everybody concerned I feel in duty bound to ad- vise the investors of America to confine their part pay- ment purchases of Texas-Mexia Drilling Snydicate units to financially responsible brokerage houses. ‘A broker who offers my securities on long time part payment plan with the expectation of being able to Kover” inter at today’s market price, is destined to experience a tragic disappointment. : Representative broxers throughout the nation are now contracting for sufficient units to cover their part payment sales, knowing full well that the shares now quoted at $2.00 will in all probability be absorbed at a much higher figure before the expiration of their part payment contracts with their clients. I mention the foregoing, not as a threat to the brokers, but rather as a friendly word of advice to in- vestors who might be beguiled by the promises of “bucket chops” operating under the guise of “‘hrokerage houses” or, “investment bankers.” The limited offering of my shares at $2.00 each is being rapidly subscribed. Early unit ‘holders are doubling and trebling their subscriptions and new recruits in practically eyery state are locking hands with me in this fortune laden enterprise. ; I want a big army of little investors with me—-I want the co-operation of the “just plain folks” of America. T am an old fashioned man and I hope you are one, for we are the “salt of the earth.” I want you with me. Will you join me—NOW? Very Truly Yours, TEXAS-MEXIA DRILL 1211 F, & M.
