The well, developing exceptionally big production on the southern end of the structure is credited with proving up thousands of acres of land in that vicinity. It is also said to extend the producing limits a mile or more south of the next nearest producing well to the north. The heavy yield was obtained after the well was shot Wednesday. The shot caused the well to bridge at the start but the gas and oil pressure cleaned out the hole enabling the test of production to start yesterday morn- ing.
