Jan. 19.—An entire block of frame buildings in the center of Whiz Bang, an oil town in western Osage county was burned Wednesday with a loss of approxi mately $75,000, according to informa- tion received here. The flames were Prevented from spreading by oil ope rators who used tractors to drag build ings away from all ‘sides of the burn: ing area. The fire started in a press ing and cleaning shop.
