VET BUREAU TO |, EXTEND SCOPE 1) OF WORK HERE and in|Three More Offices Added to Headquarters and Several Employes Are Re- tained. The Casper office of the United States Veterans’ bureau,.already the central point of this governmental or- genizaticn’s work in Wyoming will be widened under the extensions now being made to extend the personnel and efficiency of the offices here for the benefit of ex-service men. All improvements are being mafe under the direction of J. 8. Ross, sub- district manager. He announced yes terday that Chas. J. McNulty; who is now on an inspection trip in the Big Horn basin, had been assigned to the local office as placement officer. A sulte of three additional offices on the fourth floor of the Consolidated Royalty building has been opened to provide the new office space that ts required. Among the new additions to the force of the office here are Miss Mary Fiynh, file clerk. A follow up nurse will be added to the forces as will a full time dentist shortly after the first of the year. When the new additions are com- pleted the personnel of the office hors will include a full time physician, ad. tst and nurse, in addition to the many other functions of the office. When the department's investiga Uon of retail prices has been com pleted, Mr. Daugherty sald, it was expected that the Jocal authorities in the different states would taks the necessary steps to remedy local sit- uations, while the department would act in cases where there were viola tons of the federal law.
