Mr. Wall, before the curtain, eu- logized boxing, praising it as a sport when conducted along the clean lines popularized by such promoters as ‘Tex Rickard. He called attention to the improvement in the sport, evi: denced by the large attendance of la dies at the big bouts, New Year's eve the Sapphire Girls company will stage g big midnight frolic of the kind made famous by Ziegfeld in New York. Horns, favors and confetti will be given away with all the carnival trimmings to help the new year in, Seats for this entertain- ment may now be reserved at the Columbia box office. The Sunday show, “Baby Mine,’’ is to be one of Kennedy's biggest hits, | ~ just a little better than his previous popular productions. DAIRY SHOP GETS LEASE IN NEW LYRIC BUILOING A contract was recently signed by the Lyric Theater company with E. B. Palmer of the Bootery shop, by which the front east space in the new building, which was leased to Mr. Palmer, will now be sublet to L. ¥. Winter, formerly of the -Natrona Butter shop and now with the Win- ter and Henthorne, jewelers. The space will be used for a butter shop and dairy store. Cheese, butter, and all milk products Including cottage cheese, and butter milk, will be car- ried there.
