Woman in Critical Condition From’ Burns; Store May Have to Be Rebuilt as Result of Damage. BASIN, Wyo., Nov. 2%—An explo- sion of natural gas at Lovell severely injured Mrs. F. H. Gruenwald and her son. Gruenwald is an employe of the sugar company and his wife and son joined him there Tuesday, securing apartments in the rear of the second story of the Poplar store. Wednesday evening when they enter- ed their apartments Gruenwald en- tered the kitchenette and his wife and son entered/the bath room. As goon as the woman ogened the bath yoom door the exn'osion took place, tearing out the whole rear end of the Poplar store and warping and twisting the wall of the Northern Drug Co. building adjacent. Mrs. Gruenwald suffered severe burns on the face and lower limbs, a sweater that she wore saving the upper part of the body, Her condl- ‘\\. don is considered critica& The hot ‘was burned considerably but is not in @ dangerous condition. Gruenwald escaped without injury. ‘The only plausible theory for the explosion was a leak in the mains. A small reflector stove in the bath room is thought to have ignited the gas when tho air froin the door be- ing opened forced the leaking gas against *he blaze. Every thing pos- sible is being done for the woman by the people of Lovell. The damage to the building cannot yet be determin: ed but the Poplar store will probably have to be,entirely rebuilt. * eer becteth lhe sone CAR STOLEN FROM LOGKL ATTORNEY 16 RECOVERED ‘The Nash car whieh was stolen/ from W.
