M., Nov. 5.—One man was killed, one badly bruised and one girl probably fatally hurt and two other girls seriously hurt late dast night when an automobile was struck by a freigh* “rain at Romeroville, ecv- eral nilles from here. Passengers on the stage said that qwhen the acéident happened the stage ‘vas traveling at the ordinary rate of speed. They, sald it was passed by a ilk truck and trailer going in the game direction and that the trailer struck the left front wheel of the stege causing the accident. The injured passengers and Mrs. Slauson’s body were taken to a hos- pital in Tempe. + Among the injured were. Charlotte McDonglas, sister of Mrs. Slauson, ylightly injured; D. L. Bellow, Flora Pheew of Tempe, Howard Phew of Tempe and two Indians. One_of the Indians was sald to have suffered in- ternal injuries.
